Stay Off-Grid Longer with Adventure Pumps 12 Volt Water Transfer Kit
When it comes to camping off-grid, two things are essential: power and water. While we’ve sorted the power with our setup, water has always been a challenge. With 240 litres of water on board our Zone RV, separated into three 80 litre poly tanks, one dedicated to drinking and the other two for daily use, we found ourselves running out somewhere between 5 and 7 days, depending on our frugality. That’s where the Adventure Pumps Water Transfer Kit has become a complete game changer, allowing us to stay and play longer in amazing off grid campgrounds all around the country.
How does it work?
The Adventure Pumps Water Transfer Kit offers various power options, all 12-volt. You can use the old-school cigarette lighter, the Anderson plug, or even alligator clips to connect to the batteries in your van or vehicle. Once connected to your caravan water fill point, simply submerge the pump into your jerry can or water bladder, and you’re ready to go. It’s a super-fast water transfer solution that has extended our off grid camping trips significantly.
But that’s not all!
There are even more uses for the Adventure Pumps kit, it really is so versatile! We’ve used it to wash the solar panels on our caravan roof, by simply connecting a spray adapter. It’s also perfect for cleaning off the back of the van before outdoor cinema nights, a favourite off grid camping activity of ours.
If you’re traveling with kids you can use it to wash off their feet and keep the dirt, sand and mud outside, no matter what environment you’re camping in. And for those traveling with pets, it’s an ideal dog wash solution.
